The mystery of Jordan & Israel haunts every Wanderer and attracts them to discover more about these countries. But the hesitation is there and many step back, thinking that it’s difficult to obtain visas and visit this part of the Middle East.

Here in this blog we bring to you an excerpt of our interview with Sumitra, Founder of Women On Wanderlust, on how to experience the beauty of The Holy Land and The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan without worrying about any sort of paperwork related to procuring the visas.

Q.Why visit Jordan & Israel?

Sumitra: Israel and Jordan are two beautiful Middle Eastern countries that should definitely feature in your travel wish list. There is lots to explore and experience, right from the relics of the ancient Nabatean capital Petra, to the modern city of Tel Aviv, from the haunting wilderness of Wadi Rum to the sanctity of Jerusalem, from the miraculous phenomena of the Dead Sea to the restful waters of the Red Sea, from the delicious falafel to the exotic kanafeh, witness and enjoy the incredible!

Q. What is the difference between travelling in a group to these countries and in travelling all alone?

Sumitra: If you are travelling by yourself, solo to Jordan & Israel, then you need to undergo a lot of documentation formalities. Individual travel to these countries involves a lot of paperwork, leave certificates from employers and the answers to endless questions during visa interviews. For both countries. But while travelling in a group all these unnecessary hassles can be avoided and the time can be invested more on exploring the distinctive features and the enchanting beauty of these countries.

Sumitra: For Indian citizens travelling as tourists to Jordan & Israel, both these countries offer visa on arrival. If you are travelling in a group to Jordan & Israel you really do not have to worry anything about time consuming paperwork. Israel offers a group paper visa that makes travelling less troublesome and there is nothing stamped on the passport so travelers do not have to worry about it.

Q. How does WOW help their travelers with visa procedure to these countries?

Sumitra: As mentioned previously both these countries offer visa on arrival so there is little or no hassle in arranging the visas to travel to these countries. So naturally we do not ask our travelers to courier their passports if they are travelling to Jordan or Israel with us. Even Indians staying abroad, who have a valid Indian passport, are exempted from lengthy visa procedures when they travel with a group

Q. Could you please tell us about the validity of these visas?

Sumitra: These group visas are mostly issued for the number of days of travel to the country.

Q. How safe are these countries to travel to?

Sumitra: These are absolutely safe countries to travel. There are no issues as such for tourists in Jordan & Israel.

Q. Are there any restrictions for tourists to travel to these countries?

Sumitra: There are no restrictions as such for any tourists. You can visit the country without the slightest fear and worry and experience the best of culture, tradition, delicious cuisines and hospitality in these two beautiful countries.
